Makers Day event postponed due to COVID-19

NJMakersDaylogoThe N.J. Makers Day Executive Board has announced the postponement of the annual Makers Day event, which had been scheduled for March 20-21 at libraries throughout New Jersey. As public health concerns involving the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continue to grow, public safety is the top priority.

With the emergence of the COVID-19 virus, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend discontinuing large gatherings. Doing so can slow the rate of transmission, lowering the number of active cases at one time. This can help us avoid overwhelming the healthcare system. For a more detailed

The Makers Day Executive Board said it will discuss rescheduling Makers Day events once the State of Emergency is lifted. Learn more about N.J. Makers Day by visiting njmakersday.org or calling (609) 345-2269, ext. 3050.
